Rolling Stone
"After decades producing and writing songs for outside artists, I felt the calling to return to my roots again as a solo artist. It was the success of my first single "Something Special" in 1983 that launched my career as a Record Producer. The past several years I have been cultivating and stockpiling material for my own projects which I plan to commence releasing in 2020 "Rolling Stone" (pictured left) was a demo cut back in 2008 that would set the tone of the album. revisiting the rock influences I grew up with in the 70's. I had no idea when i wrote the lyrics it would become my mantra and a self fulfilling prophecy."

Body & Soul
Circa 1991-93 Stephen was signed as an Artist to A&M & MCA records and as a staff writer with EMI publishing. The Body & Soul album was recorded at Steve’s studios in Hollywood , “Scotland Yard Studios” with a star studded cast of co-writers, session musicians, and background singers. The album was never released due to company politics at the time and it was not until the end of 2023 30 years on the album was finally released back to the artist. Something Special
The original song that essentially launched SLH’s career in 1983. He would consequently sign a record deal as a solo artist with Polygram, and a publishing deal as a songwriter with Chrysalis Music publishing.
